KING JAMES VERSION
BOOK of PSALMS

Psalms 1:3
And he shall be like a tree planted
by the rivers of water, that
bringeth forth his fruit in
his season; his leaf also shall
not wither; and whatsoever
he doeth shall prosper.

Psalms 3:3
But thou, O Lord, art a shield
for me; my glory, and the
lifter up of mine head.

Psalms 4: 8
I will both lay me down in
peace, and sleep: for thou,
Lord only makest me to
dwell in safety.

Psalms 5:11,12
But let all those that put
their trust in Thee rejoice:
let them ever shout for joy,
because thou defenndest
them: let them also that
love thy name be joyful
in Thee.

For thou, Lord, wilt bless
the righteous; with favor
wilt thou compass him
as with a shield.

Psalms 9:10
And they that know Thy
name will put their trust
in Thee: for thou, Lord,
hast not forsaken them
that seek Thee.

Psalms 16: 8,9,
11,48

I have set the Lord always
before me: because He
is at my right hand,
I shall not be moved.
Therefore my heart
is glad, and my glory
rejoiceth: my flesh
also shall rest in hope.

Thou wilt shew me the
path of life: in Thy
presence is fullness
of joy; at Thy right-hand
there are pleasures for
evermore.

Psalm 18: 1,2,3,
19,28,32,33,35,36

I will love thee, O Lord, my
strength.The Lord is my
rock, and my fortress,
and my deliverer; my
God, my strength, in
whom I will trust; my
buckler, and the horn
of my salvation, and
my high tower. I will
call upon the Lord,
who is worthy to be
praised: so shall I be
saved from mine
enemies.

He brought me forth also
into a large place; He
delivered me, because
He delighted in me.

For thou wilt light my
candle: the Lord my God
will enlighten my darkness.
For by thee I have run
through a troop; and
by my God have I have
leaped over a wall.

It is God that girdeth me
with strength, and
maketh my way perfect.
He maketh my feet like
hinds' feet, and
setteth me upon high
places.

Thou hast also given me
the shield of thy salvation:
and Thy right hand hath
holden me up, and Thy
gentleness hath made me
great. Thou hast enlarged
my steps under me, that
my feet did not slip.

He delivered me from mine
enemies: yea, thou liftest
me up above those that
rise up against me:
thou hast delivered me
from the violent man.
Therefore will I give thanks
unto Thee, O Lord, among
the heathen, and sing
praises unto Thy name.

Psalm 23 verse 1,2,3,
4,5,6.

The Lord is my shepherd;
I shall not want. He maketh
me to lie down in green
pastures: He leadeth me
besides the still waters.
He restoreth my soul:
He leadeth me in the paths
of righteousness for His
name sake. Yea, though I
walk through the valley
of the shadow of death, I
will fear no evil: for Thou
art with me; Thy rod and
Thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table
before me in the present
of mine enemies: Thou
anointest my head with oil;
my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy
shall follow me all the
days of my life: and I will
dwell in the house of the
Lord forever.

Psalms 27: 1,5,14
The Lord is my light and my
salvation; whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the strength
of my life; of whom shall
I be afraid.

For in the time of trouble
He shall hide me in His
pavillion: in the secret of
His tabernacle shall He
hide me; He shall set
me upon a rock.

Wait on the Lord: be of
good courage, and He shall
strengthen thine heart:
wait, I say, on the Lord.

unto his people; the Lord
will bless his people with
peace.

trust; let me never be
ashamed: deliver me in Thy
righteousness.

the Lord.

19,20, 21,22,

is upon them that fear Him,
upon them that hope in His
mercy. To deliver their
soul from death, and to
keep them alive in famine.
Our soul waitheth for the

and our shield. For our
heart shall rejoice in Him,
because we have trusted
in His holy name. Let Thy
mercy, O Lord, be upon us,
according as we hope
in Thee.

Psalms 34: 4,6,7,8
,9,15,17,18,19,22

heard me, and delivered me
from all my fears.

the Lord heard him, and
saved him out of all his
troubles. The angel of the
Lord encampeth round
about them that fear Him,
and delivered them.
O taste and see that the
Lord is good: blessed is
the man that trusteth Him.
O fear the Lord, ye his
saints: for there is no
want to them that fear
Him.

The eyes of the Lord are
upon the righteous, and
His ears are open unto their
cry.

The righteous cry, and the
Lord heareth, and delivereth
them out of all their troubles.
The Lord is nigh unto them
that are of a broken heart;
and saveth such as be of a
contrite spirit. Many are the
afflictions of the righteous:
but the Lord delivereth him
out of them all.

The Lord redeemeth the
soul of his servants: and
none of them that trust in
Him shall be desolate.

Psalms 35: 9,10
And my soul shall be joyful
in the Lord: it shall rejoice
in His salvation. All my bones
shall say, Lord, who is like
unto Thee, which delivereth
the poor from from him that
is too strong for him, yea,
the poor and the needy
from him that spoileth him?

Psalms36: 7,8,9
How excellent is Thy loving
kindness, O God! therefore
the children of men put
their trust under the shadow
of Thy wings.

They shall be abundantly
satisfied with the fatness
of Thy house; and Thou
shalt make them drink
of the river of Thy pleasures.

For with Thee is the fountain
of life: in Thy light shall
we see light.

Psalms 37: 4,5,6
Delight thyself also in the Lord;
and He shall give thee the
desires of thine heart.
Commit thy way unto the
Lord; trust also in Him; and
He shall bring it to pass.

righteousness as the light,
and thy judgment as the
noonday.

Psalms 40: verse 5,17
Many, O Lord my God are
Thy wonderful works which
thou hast done, and Thy
thoughts which are to usward:
they cannot be reckoned up
in order unto Thee: if I
would declare and speak
of them, they are more than
can be numbered.

But I am poor and needy;
yet the Lord thinketh upon
me: thou art my help and my
deliverer; make no tarrying,
O my God.

carried into the midst of the
sea; Though the waters thereof
roar and be troubled, though
the mountains shake with the
swellins thereof. Selah.

The Lord of hosts is with us;
the God of Jacob is our
refuge. Selah.

ever and ever: He will be

for ever and ever.

God; and the Lord shall
save me.

He hath delivered my soul in
peace from the battle that
was against me: for there
were many with me.

Lord, and He shall sustain
thee: He shall never suffer
the righteous to be moved.

deliver my feet from falling,
that I may walk before God
in the light of the living.

from him cometh my salvation.
He only is my rock and my
salvation; He is my defense;
I shall not be greatly moved.

My soul, wait thou only upon
God: for my expectation is
from Him, He only is my rock
and my salvation: He is
my defense; I shall not be
moved. In God is my salvation
and my glory: the rock of my
strength, and my refuge,
is in God.

Psalms 71: 1,5
In thee, O Lord, do I put my
trust: let me never be put
to confusion.

For thou art my hope, O Lord
God: thou art my trust from
my youth.

Psalms 77: 1,14

even unto God with my voice;
and He gave ear unto me.

wonders: thou hast declared
thy strength among the
people.

Paslams 84: 11
For the Lord God is a sun and
shield: the Lord will give grace
and glory: no good thing will
He withhold from them that
walk uprightly.

Psalms 86: 5,10,15
For thou, Lord, art good and
ready to forgive; and plenteous
in mercy unto all them that
call upon Thee.

For thou art great, and doest
wondrous things: thou art
God alone.

But thou, O Lord, art a God
full of compassion, and
gracious, longsuffering,
and plenteous in mercy
and truth.

Psalms 91:1,2,3,4,5,6,
7,9,10,11,12

He that dwelleth in the secret
place of the most High shall
abide under the shadow of
the Almighty. I will say of the
Lord, He is my refuge and
my fortress: my God: in Him
will I trust. Surely He shall
deliver thee from the snare
of the fowler, and from the
noisome pestilence, He shall
cover thee with His feathers,
and under his wings shalt
thou trust: His truth shall
be thy shield and buckler.
Thou shalt not be afraid for
the terror by night; nor for
the arrow that flieth by day;
nor for the pestilence that
walketh in darkness: nor
for the destruction that
wasteth at noonday.
A thousand shall fall at thy
side, and ten thousand at
thy right hand; but it shall
not come nigh thee.

Because thou hast made the
Lord, which is my refuge,
even the most High, Thy
habitation; There shall no
evil befall thee, neither shall
any plague come nigh thy
dwelling. For He shall give
His angels charge over
thee, to keep thee in all
thy ways. They shall bear
thee up in their hands, lest
thou dash thy foot against
a stone.

Psalms 92:4,
For thou, Lord, hast made me
glad through Thy work: I will
triumph in the works of
Thy hands.

When I said, My foot slippeth;
Thy mercy, O Lord, held me up.

But the Lord is my defense;
and my God is the rock of
my refuge.

Psalms 97: 11
Light is sown for the
righteous, and gladness
for the upright in heart

Psalms 100: 5
For the Lord is good; His
mercy is everlasting; and
His truth endureth to all
generations.

Psalms 103: 1-18
Bless the Lord, O my soul:
and all that is within me,
bless His holy name. Who
forgiveth all thy iniquities;
who healeth all thy diseases;
Who redeemeth thy life from
destruction; who crowneth
thee with loving kindness
and tender mercies; Who
satisfied thy mouth with
good things; so that thy youth
is renewed like the eagles.
The Lord executeth
righteousness and judgment
for all that are oppressed.
He made known His ways
unto Mosses, His acts unto the
children of Israel. The Lord is
merciful and gracious, slow to
anger, and plenteous in mercy.
He will not always chide:
neither will He keep His anger
for ever. He hath not dealt
with us after our sins;
nor rewarded us after our
sins; nor rewardeth us
according to our iniquities.
For as the heaven is high
above the earth, so great
is His mercy toward them
that fear Him.
As far as the east is from
the west, so far hath He
removed our transgressions
from us.
Like as a father pitieth his
children, so the Lord pitieth
them that fear Him. For He
knoweth our frame; He
remembereth that we are
dust.
As for man, his days are as
grass: as a flower of the field,
so he flourisheth. For the
wind passeth over it, and
it is gone; and the place
thereof shall know it no more.
But the mercy of the Lord
is from everlasting to
everlasting upon them that
fear Him, and His righteousness
unto children's children. To
such as keep His covenant,
and to those that remember
His commandments to do
them.

Psalms 104: 10,11,
12,13,14

He sendeth the springs into
the valleys, which run among
the hills. They give drink to
every beast of the field:
the wild asses quench their
thirst.
By them shall the fowls of the
heaven have their habitation,
which sing among the branches.
He watereth the hills from His
chambers: the earth is
satisfied with the fruit of thy
works.
He causeth the grass to grow
for the cattle, and herb for
the service of man: that he
may bring forth food out
of the earth.

By Helen Mallicoat
I was regretting the past
and fearing the future.
Suddenly my Lord was speaking.
My name is I AM. He paused.
I waited.

He continued. When you live
in the past, with its mistakes
and regrets, it is hard.
I am not there. My name is
not I was.

When you live in the future,
with its problems and fears,
it is hard. I am not there.
My name is not I will be.

When you live in this moment,
it is not hard. I am here.
My name is I AM.

Grace
To all that wrestle with
troubles, predicaments,
doubts, disputes, difficulties,
snares, problems, temptations,
and hurts.
Come to Jesus, the well of
Grace to which there is no
end. Never runs out, no
matter how much you require.
